We FINALLY got to have a fire! We were ready a long time ago but they never hooked up the gas line. When they came to do that they realized the mason broke the line when laying the stone so then we had to wait for them to come repair that. So after 6 weeks of anticipation here it finally is

C has never taken his lunch to school but for some reason he has been asking all week to take a lunch to school.

I guess he got tired of asking because after we got home today he brought me a lunch box and told me he packed his lunch for tomorrow


For a 5 year old I really am pretty impressed. Something about the lone tootsie roll had me laughing hysterically though.

In Memory of Zane

My first child took a spill last night and was unable to walk so we had to come to terms with his inevitable fate today.

So we spent the morning giving lots of lovin and cuddles





We shared cheeseburgers and fries from McDonalds


I know that right now these furry little toes are painlessly chasing rabbits and squirrels and swimming thru blue waters before taking a snooze under the sun


Zane you were only part of my life but I was part of every moment of yours. I will miss your honey eyes and selfless love always.
